The next generation of the Fading World carpet collection. The Generation collection has ties to the disruptive events of the 1960s when the emerging generations overwhelmed the established ones. That's why we also find here the bold blurring of colours, supposedly the 'aggression of time', but still the classic medallion design.
More than a century of craftsmanship has been entwined in every carpet that Louis De Poortereproduces. Woven on jacquard looms with cotton chenille yarns, each rughas multiple layers of texture, worn pieces and intricate stitching for a real Vintage look.
